Introducing: Famly – The Early Childhood Platform

We are excited to announce that Tommies Childcare is transitioning to a new nursery management system called Famly. Famly is an Early Childhood Platform designed to enhance communication between parents and our nursery teams, streamline administrative tasks, and provide a more intuitive experience for everyone involved.

Why Are We Moving?

For some time, we’ve been exploring options for a new system. This decision stems from our desire to adopt a platform that better serves the needs of both parents and nursery teams. We’ve carefully considered feedback from families and staff, and your thoughts have been invaluable in helping us take this step forward.

What Does This Mean for You?

Once we’ve transitioned to Famly, all parents will receive a new login for the system, sent directly to the email address we have on file for you. Through the Famly App, you can access all daily updates, progress reports, and messages about your child, ensuring a seamless connection with your nursery.

What Benefits Will You Enjoy with Famly?

The move to Famly comes with many exciting features that are designed to make your nursery experience even better.

Here are some of the things you can look forward to:

• Notify us quickly and easily of your child’s absences (e.g., holidays or sickness).
• Request additional sessions with just a few taps.
• Access up-to-date financial information, including Direct Debit and Tax-Free Childcare options.
• Enjoy a user-friendly interface with a look and feel similar to popular social media platforms, ensuring it’s simple for everyone to use.

What About My Child’s Existing Learning Journey?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to transfer your child’s Learning Journey from ParentZone to Famly. However, after the transition, you’ll receive a link via ParentZone to download and save or print your child’s existing records. We encourage you to do this promptly to ensure you have a complete history of your child’s Learning Journey.

When Will This Happen?

The transition is planned for January 2025, and we’ll keep you informed every step of the way. Look out for regular updates from us as we get closer to the launch date.
