Nursery World Awards 2018: Danielle Butler Announced as Nursery Operations/Regional Manager of the Year
Tommies Childcare is immensely proud to announce that our very own Danielle Butler received the Nursery Operations/Regional Manager of the Year award, at the 2018 Nursery World Awards.
Danielle was unveiled as the winner in a glittering ceremony at The Brewery in London, in which hundreds of people from across the early years sector were in attendance.
What the judges said
The expert judges of the awards said:
“At the forefront of Tommies Childcare, Danielle Butler embodies the ethos and culture of the organisation. Since starting at the company in April 2015, she has been a key driver in shaping the organisation as it is today.
“The company has been transformed over the past three years, driven by Danielle’s clear vision for children, parents and employees. The management structure has been overhauled and Danielle has led the organisation’s Employee Engagement Strategy, implementing employee benefits, including increased pay, extra holiday, staff welfare budgets, and an annual awards ball to recognise all employees.”
Tommies Childcare made the shortlist for two categories: Nursery Operations/Regional Manager of the Year; and the Online & Social Media Award.
What are the Nursery World Awards?
The Nursery World Awards showcase the very best practice in the early years sector and reward those dedicated professionals who put in so much hard work to support young children and their families.
Upon receiving the award, Danielle said:
“This is the first time we have attended the Nursery World Awards. It was a huge achievement for us to have been shortlisted for two categories.
“The award received on Saturday belongs to every single one of our staff, without whom, this could not have been possible. The passion, drive and commitment that everyone has shown these past few years has been outstanding. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”
