Day Nursery & Pre-school Provision in Kenilworth
Meet the team
My name is Jade and I’m the Nursery Manager here at Field House.
I started my childcare career on London, where I nannied for families in Central London. Since relocating to Warwickshire, I have worked at Tommies Childcare for more than five years. During my time at Tommies Childcare and Field House Day Nursery, I have progressed from the role of Nursery Practitioner to Nursery Manager.
In my time so far at Field House I have become part of a warm and experienced team, and through parent partnerships we have created an inviting and homely experience for the children in our care.
I would love the opportunity to tell you more about life here at Field House. Please feel free to arrange a consultation!
I’m Emma and I am proud to be the Deputy Manager here at Field House Day Nursery.
I started out my childcare career just over 15 years ago by training as an apprentice in a pre-school. Over the years, I’ve worked my way up from an Apprentice to Deputy Manager, working in various supervisory roles along the way. I’ve been here at Field House for nearly 2 years, starting initially in a Third in Charge role before recently being given the opportunity to step up as the nursery’s Deputy Manager.
I know first-hand what it is like as a parent to choose a nursery. I had my first child in September 2020 and felt many of the same things that all parents feel when it is time to return to work. I would very much like to invite you to visit our fantastic nursery so that you can learn more about the amazing opportunities we provide for young children. Arrange your visit today.
Field House is supported by a team of 6 Nursery Practitioners who are all passionate about working with children in the early years sector. All staff have Paediatric First Aid Training and receive regular and ongoing training through a variety of internal and external professional development opportunities.
Our commitment guarantees that our employees are the best of the best, recruiting those who have a desire to make a difference to children and are passionate about the early years as a career choice.
The nursery was last inspected by Ofsted in 2018 and retained its ‘Good’ grading. Ofsted remarked that, “Staff have high expectations of children. Staff make good use of their accurate observations and assessments to effectively plan for each child’s learning and to meet their individual needs.”
The setting has high quality environments, both indoors and outdoors, in which the staff team are able to create outstanding early years experiences for children. The garden area was professionally designed and refurbished in 2019, providing an environment that the children at Field House love play in.
In 2018, the team were presented with the Progression Award at the Tommies Childcare Awards Ceremony.
Our Community Library at Field House was an idea created by one of the team, this has been extremely popular in sharing their love of books with the children, parents and the wider community.
