Kim Rea, Nursery Manager at Field House
I’m Kim Rea and I’m the Nursery Manager at Field House in Kenilworth. I started my career with Tommies Childcare in June 2015.
I’ve been working within the childcare sector for 12 years, where I started as an Apprentice and was able to work my way up. I have been part of an ‘Outstanding’ nursery setting and understand what is needed to achieve great childcare and early years education. I really enjoy working at with children and nurturing and encouraging them to be the best they can be. I believe that children can do so much better if they have a positive early years experience to ensure that they start school with the skills needed to achieve all they can.
Early years exploration and play is set out wonderfully here at Field House. Children become independent learners, gaining new skills and friendships. Heuristic play is available throughout the nursery and is a key element in engaging the children to discover and investigate.
I believe that when you walk in the door, you will feel the warmth and nurture from the staff, which is what makes our nursery special.
Please do arrange to come and see the nursery. We’ll be happy to show you around.
Kasey Avery, Deputy Manager at Field House
I am a strong believe in giving children the best start in life, and to do this it is highly important that children are given stimulating and exciting experiences in their nursery life.
I have worked within the childcare sector for more than 6 years. I had always wanted to work with children, which is why I studied at college for 2 years in order to gain a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. More recently I have gained a Level 5 qualification in Management.
I have worked with Tommies Childcare for a few years now as Deputy Manager at Arbury Day Nursery, Flutterbies Day Nursery and now Field House Day Nursery. My goals are to enhance the nursery by creating stimulating envrionments and planning activities for the children based on their own interests and passions.
Why not request a visit and see our facilities for yourself? We look forward to seeing you.
