Hello,

My name is Amy and I am delighted to embark on my journey with Tommies Childcare as the Nursery Manager here at Springthorpe Day Nursery.

I have encountered every aspect of nursery life since starting my journey 12 years ago as an apprentice to where I am today as a Nursery Manager. Along with my experience, my knowledge of the early years sector has grown over the years and I achieved my childcare degree in 2021.

Since my journey in childcare started I have learnt that working with children is the most rewarding job there is. No two days are ever the same and watching children grow into the best version of themselves, and knowing I played a part in that is what this job is all about.

I believe in a community culture. It takes a whole village to raise a child and I want to develop my team to not only grow within themselves but have an impact on the lives of the children we care for.
