Baby Room (6 weeks – 18 months)

We like to offer a home-from-home environment in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere for small babies. We aim to offer a smooth transition from home to nursery through strong relationships with our parents and providing ‘settling-in sessions’ to gain knowledge of your child’s individual needs and routines.

Our experienced staff support the children in daily routines of sleep, feeding and supporting children through activities, play and moving children onto more physical skills such as crawling and walking. We provide a rich and stimulating environment that allows children to use all of their senses and learn and explore from the world around them. We also provide a range of natural resources that allow the youngest children to thrive, discover new textures and how items work.

Toddler Room (18 months – 3 years)

As children develop and become more mobile, the types of activities and play experiences that our nursery practitioners create change slightly so that they have a smooth transition into our Toddler Room. This room is designed to enhance and further stimulate their development through teaching them to be more independent and make choices in accessing resources for themselves.

At this stage in your child’s life, it’s important that they have access to a range of materials that allow them to explore and discover, giving them a chance to show what they know and what they can already do with staff close by to support and gently encourage further development.

Pre-school Room (3 – 5 years)

The pre-school room is divided into different areas of play and learning to enhance your child’s development through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The children have access to a variety of different media that allows them to explore, create and work out solutions for themselves.

The children’s interests play a large part in the planning process and our experienced staff really tune in to the children to ensure they are providing for each child’s individual learning needs. A wide balance of activities enables children to grow in confidence and become competent learners, ensuring they are school ready when the time comes.
