Special Visit to Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Tommies Childcare given special tour of Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Staff from Tommies Childcare were invited to visit the Centre earlier this week (20/08/2018).

The visit follows the announcement earlier this year that Tommies Childcare will be raising money for the Hospital.

Tinita Mistry (Regional Fundraiser) showed the team around the Hospital to explain more about the special care and facilities provided to young, sick children.

“We initially started supporting Birmingham Children’s Hospital at The Old School Day Nursery, as there is a young boy with a heart condition attending the nursery. He has already had major heart surgery at the Hospital and will undergo further surgery in the future.

“The support we received from our parents was incredible, and the nursery was able to raise £700.00. It was then decided to support the Hospital across the organisation. We have set ourselves a target to raise £5,000.00.” – Kelly Andrews, Area Manager
