Tommies Awards 2021: The Winners
On Saturday 27th November 2021, the Tommies Awards took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Solihull.
Staff from across Tommies Childcare gathered to celebrate at the event. With the spotlight firmly placed on our nurseries and staff members, the winners of each award category were revealed.
But before the ceremony began, we premiered our new ‘Discover Tommies Childcare’ video:
Ahead of announcing the winners, Danielle Butler (Operations Director) said:
“The coronavirus pandemic prevented us from coming together to celebrate this event last year, which makes this year’s ceremony all the more exciting.
“The events of 2020 and 2021 have presented everyone with many challenges. In the early days of the outbreak, only a few of our nurseries remained open to care for the children of Key Workers. I want to give a special thank you to those staff who answered the call in those early days when things felt very uncertain.
“When I reflect on the last two years, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride at how our organisation has pulled together to help and support each other. You have all played your part in ensuring the children in our care continued to smile, learn and grow, despite what has been happening in the world.
“Tonight is an opportunity to celebrate your success and achievements. I hope you will help us to cheer loudly and proudly when this year’s award winners are announced.”
