Welcome to The Old School Day Nursery & Pre-school

The Old School Day Nursery & Pre-school is a full-time day nursery situated in the stunning rural village of Astley, near Nuneaton in North Warwickshire. The Old School Day Nursery provides children with the best quality early years care and education in a safe and caring environment. The nursery was rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its last inspection in 2015.

At The Old School Day Nursery, our dedicated members of staff ensure that your child’s time at nursery is very happy. We pride ourselves in maintaining a personal approach and providing a warm and welcoming environment for each and every family.

Individual needs are met through a variety of fun activities and creative experiences. These experiences enable children to express themselves through a wide range of child-friendly equipment such as sand & water play, play-dough, paint, music, movement, singing and imaginative role-play. The children and adults go on regular walks around the local area to see the animals in the fields and explore the natural rural surroundings.

All parents are welcome to meet us at The Old School Day Nursery, so arrange a visit today.

As part of the Tommies Childcare family, The Old School Day Nursery & Pre-school has a professional team that prides themselves on creating warm, vibrant and interactive environments which allow children to flourish socially and emotionally.

“Children make independent choices in their learning. They use exciting and stimulating toys and resources to explore and investigate indoors and outdoors. The new manager and staff have greatly improved the nursery environment since the last inspection. They have planned this thoughtfully with children’s interests in mind.” Ofsted, 2017/18.
